We recognize the importance of parent and community involvement and offer many volunteer opportunities to help support our Group, your child, and our community!

βœ… Safe & Screened: All volunteers go through the Scouts Canada screening process to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
βœ… Clear Expectations: We make sure volunteers fully understand their commitment so they can contribute in a way that works for them!

πŸ” Volunteer Screening Process

All volunteers complete screening before joining, including:
βœ” A conversation with two Scouters from the 91st.
βœ” Police record check & references.
βœ” Initial training to prepare for their role.

Once cleared, volunteers can select a position that fits their skills and availability!

πŸŽ“ Youth Volunteers (Ages 14+)

We welcome youth volunteers aged 14+, offering them a chance to develop leadership skills and give back to the community.

🏫 High school students can earn volunteer hours toward graduation!
βœ… 14+ can join the Beaver Colony & Cub Pack Teams.
βœ… 16+ can join the Scout Troop Team.

Youth volunteers (ages 14-17) follow a slightly different screening process, and their parent must register them before they begin.
