Cub Scouts is the second stop along the Canadian Path, where youth explore, learn, and grow through exciting adventures in The Jungle! Inspired by The Jungle Book, Cub Scouts work together as a Pack, choosing adventures that help them develop new skills, build confidence, and become well-rounded individuals.

Council Rock β Leadership
Every year, the Pack gathers at Council Rock to plan their journey, set goals, and earn their whiskers as they progress through the ranks.
- Plan adventures, create a Code of Conduct, and lead activities within the Pack
- Participate in Howler Council, where older Cubs help guide the Pack
- Learn teamwork and leadership by organizing Lair and Pack activities
Baloo's Cave β Beliefs & Values
Baloo teaches Cubs about respect, kindness, and reflection through meaningful activities.
- Participate in Cubs' Own, a special time for reflection
- Enjoy campfires, practice good turns, and explore different cultures and faiths
- Develop an Internal Compass, helping Cubs make thoughtful decisions
Red Flower Camp β Outdoor Adventures
Cubs embrace the outdoors, learning survival skills and exploring nature.
- Go camping, hiking, paddling, and practice Scoutcraft
- Try geocaching, orienteering, and develop Outdoor Adventure Skills
- Learn how to stay safe and thrive in the wilderness
Bagheera's Hunting Grounds β Environmental Stewardship
Bagheera encourages Cubs to protect and respect nature through environmental projects.
- Participate in Scoutrees, Adopt-a-Road, and Shoreline Cleanup
- Practice Leave No Trace camping and learn about wildlife conservation
- Take part in environmental service projects to help the planet
Monkey City β Creative Expression
Monkey City inspires Cubs to express themselves through creativity and imagination.

Elephant Turf β Citizenship & Community Service

The Village β Linking with Other Scouts
Cub Scouts aren't alone on the Canadian Path!
- Visit older Scouts who have left the Jungle for new adventures
- Help Beaver Scouts with their activities, inspiring them to become Cubs
- Howlers (third-year Cubs) scout ahead, preparing for their transition to Scouts
When Howlers move to The Village, they become Scouts, taking on bigger adventures, higher Outdoor Adventure Skill stages, and new leadership roles.

Personal Progression Badges
- Advance through three stages, completing four program cycles each year
- Plan activities based on the six program areas
- Reflect on growth and development
Outdoor Adventure Skills (OAS) Badges
- 9 skill pathways, each with 9 stages
- Cubs typically complete Stages 1 and 2, with older Cubs reaching Stage 3
- Skills include camping, survival, navigation, first aid, and paddling

- 16 badges available, covering various interests and skills
- Cubs decide their own requirements, making each badge unique
- Badges can be earned multiple times with new challenges

- Religion in Life Award β faith-based requirements with mentor guidance
- Spirituality Award β for exploring spirituality without specific faith community

- Demonstrate fluency in another language
- Speak for five minutes with correct pronunciation and grammar
- Available in French, English, Spanish, Chinese, German, Greek, Italian, and more
