✔ This badge connects you to Scouts in 224 countries and territories—you’re part of a global scouting family!
Where is it? Already sewn onto your uniform on the left pocket when you receive it.

Scouts Canada Logo & Canadian Flag

Scouts Canada Logo

You belong to Scouts Canada, the national scouting organization for Canada!
✔ The Scouts Canada logo is on your left arm, marking you as part of the Canadian Scouting family.
✔ The Canadian flag badge is sewn onto the bottom left hem of your shirt, proudly showing where you come from!

Greater Toronto Council

Greater Toronto Council Badge

✔ Scouts Canada is divided into 20 Councils to support local Scouting.
✔ Toronto is so big, it has its own Council—Greater Toronto Council!
You’ll receive this badge at your Investiture Ceremony—it belongs above the Scouts Canada logo on your left sleeve.

This badge proudly represents YOUR Scout Group!
✔ You wear two of these badges:
🔹 One on your right arm, showing you’re part of 91st Toronto.
🔹 One on your necker, which you receive at Investiture

Liar Insignia

✔ Cubs work in small teams called Lairs for activities and challenges.
Each Lair has its own special insignia to show who’s on your team.
You’ll receive this badge at Investiture, worn on your right arm.

Service Stripes

✔ 🏅 Silver stripe – Earned for each year you’ve been a Scout.
✔ 🏅 Gold stripe – Earned after five years in Scouts.
Worn on the left sleeve near the cuff, showing your dedication to Scouting!
If you were a Beaver Scout, you may have up to three silver stripes already!

⭐ North Star Award – A Badge of Beaver Scout AchievementNorth Star Award

Cub Scouts who earned the North Star Award as a Beaver Scout can wear it proudly on their Cub uniform, showing their commitment, leadership, and accomplishments from their time in Beavers.

✔ The North Star Award represents the highest achievement in Beaver Scouts, recognizing a Beaver’s growth, participation, and readiness for new adventures in Cubs.
✔ Cubs transfer this badge to their Cub uniform, wearing it on the right pocket, displaying their Beaver Scout achievement with pride.

By wearing the North Star Award, Cubs carry forward their experiences, skills, and dedication, marking the journey from Beavers to Cubs with confidence!

Outdoor Adventure Skills Badges – Progressing from Beaver Scouts to CubsOutdoor Adventure Skills

Cub Scouts continue their Outdoor Adventure Skills journey, building on what they learned in Beaver Scouts while preparing for new challenges in Cubs.

Nine skill pathways, each with nine progressive stages, encouraging Cubs to explore camping, survival, paddling, navigation, and more.
Cubs wear the highest stage badge they’ve earned in each skill pathway, swapping out lower-stage badges as they advance.
OAS badges are displayed in a square formation on the left arm, showing the Scout’s level of expertise.
Beaver Scouts who earned OAS badges can transfer their highest stage badge to their Cub uniform, continuing their progression without starting over.

By wearing their highest OAS badge, Cubs carry their past adventures forward, setting the foundation for bigger challenges ahead in Scouts!

Canadian Path Link Badge – Marking the Journey from Beavers to Cubs

Canadian Path Beaver Scout Link Badge

Cub Scouts wear the Canadian Path Beaver Scout Link Badge to represent their transition from Beaver Scouts into the Cub Scout Pack. This badge is a symbol of growth, new adventures, and carrying forward the Scouting spirit!

This badge is worn on the left sleeve, below the Outdoor Adventure Skills (OAS) badges, keeping track of their Scouting journey.
✔ As Cubs progress to Scouts, they will earn the Cubs to Scouts Link Badge, continuing their path through the Sections.

This badge shows where Cubs have come from and where they’re headed, connecting their Scouting experiences from one stage to the next!

Necker and Woggle

✔ Every Scout Group has a unique necker—our dark green with yellow trim represents unity across all Sections.
Cub Scouts receive their necker at Investiture, wearing it proudly on all adventures.
✔ Beaver Scouts who swim up to Cubs keep their Beaver necker until Investiture, when they receive their Cub Woggle.

Cub Scout Woggle: Wear Your "Whiskers" with Pride!

✔ The woggle (slide) holds the necker in place.
✔ Cubs wear different woggles, showing their progress and role in the Pack:

🔹 Runner (8 years old) – Woggle with ONE whisker, marking Cubs just beginning their leadership journey.
🔹 Tracker (9 years old) – Woggle with TWO whiskers, for Cubs who mentor younger members and take on more responsibilities.
🔹 Howler (10 years old) – Woggle with THREE whiskers, for Cubs who lead activities, guide the Pack, and prepare for Scouts!
