🍏 Apple Day – October
Picture this: our youth in crisp uniforms, proudly representing scouting values while connecting with their community. Every October, they collect donations at local spots, sharing smiles and fresh apples as a token of gratitude.
When: Weekend after Thanksgiving
Time Commitment: Just 1-2 hours (though many youth choose to stay longer because they love it!)
Impact: Teaches youth confidence, community service, and pride in their group
🎄 Christmas Tree Lot – November through December
Transform your holiday season into a community celebration! Our fresh Christmas tree lot at Grant African Methodist Episcopal Church (2029 Gerrard St E) becomes a festive hub where families gather, stories are shared, and holiday magic happens.
Schedule:
- Weekday evenings
- Saturdays (three shifts available)
- Sundays (two shifts available)
